Scott Merenda is the Lab Quality Controller in the metrology lab at Mesa’s Butler facility. Scott was born and raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey just an hour outside of New York City. Currently resides in scenic Vernon, New Jersey. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics at Montclair State University.
Scott enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain biking and spending time with his loveable golden retriever, Micki (posing handsomely in the picture below). He also dabbles in metal fabrication in his spare time.
As the Lab Quality Controller, Scott is a jack of all trades. He handles both hardware and software testing, troubleshooting, and manages the equipment in the machine shop. He has been with Mesa Labs now for three years and is proud to be one of our experts.
Initially, Scott came on board as a sales person, selling DryCal products. Scott soon found that he preferred to be more involved in the technical side of the business and moved to the metrology lab.
Stay tuned for the final issue introducing our metrologists!
